Our Media Training Workshop will teach you and your colleagues to craft and deliver effective media messages to radio, television, and print journalists, as well as those working the new technologies.

Through extensive interactive exercises, real-life examples, and your colleagues’ personal and professional experience, we will prepare them for the toughest interviewers.

During your training session, we will help your team understand how to:

  • Understand how the media operates
  • Interview for print, radio and television
  • Develop short, pointed messages and sound bites
  • Transition from the question asked to message developed
  • Avoid traps
  • Prepare for television interviews
  • Develop and use effective body language
  • Prepare for and deal with crisis communications
  • Interview for on-line and social media

Prior to our training session, we will canvass your team for their concerns and the issues affecting your organization, discuss past media challenges, and develop a plan to develop their ability to deal with any situation that may arise.

We will send each member of your team a short questionnaire to learn about them and their concerns, which we will use in tailoring the training session.
